這是由麻省理工的Anette Hosoi教授和她的研究生Nadia Cheng所設計的新型材料,透過泡沫和蠟透過3D列印製造出來的特殊結構,會因為加熱而變軟,冷卻後又能恢復原來的狀態,這就成為一個新的軟性機器人控制概念,不同於一般剛性機器人的控制。 可以運用在當需要穿越一個狹小的空間比如說是醫療、救難等等
