Magnetic Flux Command Setting Strategy of Direct Torque Control

摘要 This paper proposes a command setting strategy of magnetic flux for the Direct Torque Control (DTC) on the permanent-magnet synchronous motor(PMSM). The content starts with the introduction of DTC methodology byαβ-axis transformation, closed-loop controls of speed and torque, and tuning of magnetic flux. In order to achieve maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) control, MATLAB simulation is used to analyze the relationships between speed, torque, current and magnetic flux when the motor is running at different operating conditions. The analytical result yields a proper way of flux tuning for the PMSM. Following that, a Perturb-and-Observe algorithm massisted by Lookup-Table method is proposed to regulate magnetic flux for enhancing the MTPA. Finally, the experiment is carried out using Digital Signal Controller (dsPIC) and Hardware in the loop (HIL). Experimental results are compared with the simulation ones to validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
